My wife and I went to the G. Love and Special Sauce concert last night at Headliners and I was really surprised how good of a live show it was.  I have been listening to G. Love since high school and I own all of their albums and they are one of my favorite bands.  If you haven't heard of G. Love, you are not alone by a long shot.  If you want to give them a whirl, I would recommend that you get their first self-titled album since I still think that is their best work.  They are a combination of blues, rock, acoustic, and rap all in one package.

G. Love and his band played a lot of different tracks from all of their albums.  They put a different flare on most of the tracks that they played.  They either played with a different tempo, added verses, etc.  It sounded really really good.  My wife and I had a great time at the show (and she is hard to please   :-)  ).  They are currently on tour so take a peak at their tour schedule and stop by to check them out.
